Advice Please....

We are off on holiday to Majorca next week, 2 weeks in the sun. Cant wait for some sun sea and well sex...We have two young kids with us (5&8) any advice best way to do it. I certainly cant abstain for 2 weeks!! The sun, relaxing and sunbathing always gets my labido sky rocketing...

I'll add an amusing story (less amusing at the time). Once our kids had gone to bed on holiday (we had grandparents with us too so they weren't alone in the house), we decided to have some time in the pool at our villa in Corfu. Anyway, it ended up with my wife sitting on the corner of the pool with her legs in the water and me going down on her under the warm starry sky, cicadas chirping away... perfect really. Until a bastard of a scorpion popped out of the wall and stung me on the back of my hand. Not good. We repeated the experience a year later in Cyprus and the same bloody thing happened. So, OP - check your surroundings carefully!

Assuming you have a villa with multiple bedrooms…it’s business as usual. If you’re in a hotel with a family bedroom…sounds like you need to send the DCs off to the kids’ club.

Quicky in the shower or over the kitchen counter. When you have young kids you develop the art of the stealth shag, so I'm sure you've done it before.

I'm guessing you're all sharing one hotel room? If so, quietly or in the bathroom with the door locked!

As someone who has had sex in a caravan with three children at the other end of it, just be quiet and get on with it. Don't overthink things.

I thought they were at the time, but whether they were, or not, they seem to have matured into adults without too many hang-ups.

I fail to see why some people wish to prevent their offspring from ever knowing that they are adults with sex lives, when the children have reached the age when they are quite able to cope with that knowledge.

The same is true in reverse. I can remember taking the woman with whom I was living, and who subsequently became my wife, to visit my parents for the first time. I was nearly 30 at the time and my mother told me that she had put us in separate bedrooms. I was rather taken aback and after a little discussion, she happily put us in the same room. If my children now bring home partners with whom they have a sexual relationship, they are treated with the same respect they give to me.
