How would you broach this

Me and DH have not had sex some I found out I was pregnant with our now 3.5yr old. We had a difficult birth and in the past we have spoken about it and he said he is worried in case I get pregnant and he doesn’t want to see me in that much pain. But recently I just miss the closeness so much. I’m not on the pill due to it causing me serious mental health issues. Part of me just wants to buy a big box of condoms and go come on let’s get down to it! Any advice ?

Nope, nothing. We literally are at peck on the cheek maybe lips but that’s it

It’s difficult when you have not had sex for a long time, neither party wants to raise the issue 1st in case they get turned down.
I would think that you need to need to let him know that you are ready for sex again, try getting some condoms and leaving one on his bedside table as kinda signal that you are okay to become active again.

But he might, of course not want sex and more & that’s his choice
