Hi, my partner has just found out he has this. Ive been his only partner for years and vice versa. But i suspect he's worried that i may have had it.

I did the SHL tests and nothing came up and i havent had a partner in years either.

I feel like this has put doubt in his eyes about me but is it possible this could be caused by something other than an STI? Google is not my friend as it's saying its usually STI related.

Older men are more prone to urine infections in general.

This is from the Devon Sexual health page-

Occasionally, non-specific urethritis can be caused by irritation from deodorant or soap, vigorous sex or masturbation, or damage to the urethra by inserting an object such as a catheter into it. Treatment is still the same.”

"Non Specific" is the key here. It's not Sexually Transmitted Urethritis.
Does he actually have doubts about you now, or do you just feel like he does, and if he so, why?

@mnmnddddd I think the first thought was it's an STI so he assumed I'd given it to him. But looking into it, it's not necessarily an STI related thing

Hi, he was given antibiotics (the original symptoms were blood in his semen) This cleared it. However recently got the same symptom again so he's getting scans done.
