I need some lube recommendations

We currently use a Durex one but find that after a while it goes dry and sticky. I’d like a really slippery one that’s toy safe and doesn’t dry out and go all gross and sticky.

In related matters, any recommendations for a waterproof blanket? 🤣

Use coconut-oil natural lubricants rather than water or silicon based.

Genuinely I say that the more slippery lubes are silicone based which as you’re aware aren’t recommended for silicone toys although I have with cheaper toys and washed straight after.

We use silicone based lube (Uberlube) but then changed the toys to non silicone glass dildo , metal bullet and magic wand which is vinyl.

Regarding water based lubricants I’ve tried the durex one and I had the same experience. I would be inclined to spend a bit more money on a brand such as Sliqiud if you don’t get any better recommendations here.

Regarding water proof blankets we have a double velux splash blanket good quality and does the job. We chose this one as I emailed the company and this was there recommendation for the Liberator fancinator throw equivalent. I usually would have bought liberator but the Splash blanket was a lot cheaper.

Yes the majority of our toys are silicone, and some of them were quite expensive too, so it’s important we get a really decent lube. I’ve asked in a couple of other places too and a surprising amount of people have said just plain old coconut oil is brilliant and has the bonus of being a natural moisturiser too.

We looked up blankets last night and actually ended up with a Splash blanket! Although I chose the cooling blanket. We ordered one straight away as they currently have 30% off, so the one we bought should have been £82 and we paid £57!! Absolute bargain 😎

I totally agree with you really. If someone has a hobby, for example like cycling, they often wouldn’t think twice about spending a fortune on expensive gear. I don’t see sex as being any different to an expensive hobby in that regard! If you see what I mean?

I agree that it’s worth investing in nice things and when you’ve been together a long time can also introduce some novelty. I have noticed that a lot of recommendations on MN do apear to be towards Love Honey but I moved away from them towards buying directly from the companies and I also like to use/find nice British brands where possible.
