Do any of you ladies ever wear a satin blouse to work to get a little extra attention? I have to admit I do and I really like it 😊

No

PandorasTin · 22/02/2024 22:26

OfcourseitsaNC · 22/02/2024 22:36

Not in my job 🤣

TheLastTimeEver · 22/02/2024 22:47

Unless I was transported to the former Soviet Union in 1989 … no. A tacky “satin” blouse. lol

B1rd · 22/02/2024 23:04

😂Good on ya!
Have you been watching to many films?!

Strrictly a professional uniform here. Absolutely, no flirting with the boys!

IfYourHorseSaysNo · 22/02/2024 23:42

No. Weird.

That looks awful anyway.

TimeForHerts · 23/02/2024 02:30

If you feel comfortable in the satin blouse that you wear especially and get attention, good for you and do enjoy the attention. I’d guess you attract attention maybe being particularly confident.
As an older man at work, I’d be wary of saying anything to any lady about how she looked as I’d not wish to come across as inappropriate. Maybe I’m too shy and more worried about how such attention from me might come across. That’s the issue I think but stay confident in yourself. I will continue to remain shy though.

WhatAboutDarcy · 23/02/2024 02:41

No. I’m professional at work and I expect men to act that way too. No one likes an attention seeker or creepy men acting inappropriately in the workplace.

It’s a terrible blouse anyway. Where did you find the photo? 😬

A few months ago you were talking about sex and rugby shirts.
Is the satin blouse to attract a B/F or do you choose to tease men as a game?

Cakencookieobsessed · 23/02/2024 08:21

I don't see why that would get you any more attention than a blouse of other material. It's an ugly blouse anyway.

Definite clothing fetish going on here looking at OPs other posts. Ugly clothes as well.

Whatever floats your boat.

But as a man, I would NEVER comment on a woman’s appearance at work. I would not wish to end up in a conversation with HR about my attitude or invite any form of sexual harassment charge.

@GhostStories , Fetish is a strong word IMO. She likes some unusual items. So do I, Shapewear and corsets are my strong likes but I wouldn't start a Thread about it.
You have to give her credit for keeping the one name though.

I think a big part of the fetish is placing yourself on this board on mumsnet and seeing reactions.

I don’t have to give him/her any credit for anything. People are often not what they seem on here.

Enigma52 · 24/02/2024 10:29

No.
I hate satin.
Yuk! 🤢🤢

takemeawayagain · 24/02/2024 10:32

I think I might have had one of those back in the 80's 😂

This. ⬆️

Jerrycanny · 25/02/2024 07:43

I have worn a similar blouse to work. It certainly wasn't worn for attention.
I did wear a rather severe pinafore dress over it.

Now questioning my style choices 😂

Eric1964 · 25/02/2024 19:37

If I gave a woman 'attention' at work, I'd rightly be in serious trouble.

Namechangeforfuntopic · 26/02/2024 06:03

Attention from men, Phoar! or attention from women, Phoar!?
