First time viagra advice needed!

So my partner and I are going on holiday tonight. He's been having ED problems for a while now and has brought some viagra with him. Is it a good idea for him to take half to start with and see how it works by him touching himself while I'm getting ready (with the idea that there's no pressure in front of me for the first use)?
Then it would probably be several hours later at the end of the evening where he takes the other half before we have sex?
Any advice welcome!

assuming he has got the lowest dose tab, a half might not do much

he might be better taking a full tab on on empty stomach,
nothing should happen until he is aroused & don’t be too discouraged if nothing happens first time around

I think it's 50mg. The middle dosage as that's what was recommended. What if he ended up taking 2 in first night (apart from the obvious) Would it be too much?

he should not really go over the Max dose in 24 hrs
he might get headaches, rash, blurry vision etc
dont forget viagra was developed as a heart drug so don’t overdose

I am assuming he has been checked out before this was prescribed for other medical conditions? It's important to take it as prescribed - DP recommends limiting alcohol and taking no later than one hour before required. The other thing is that it doesn't work for everyone so 🤞🏻 it works for you both.

He ordered it online so has not seen a GP. It's very difficult to as he works nearly 60 hours a week.

60 hrs a week... well that's cause for ED and a host of MH stuff.

He needs to slow down and enjoy life.

Does he know if his blood pressure is normal? Is he a healthy weight? How old is he?

Viagra causes the BP to rise, so it's really important not to take too much.

It is best taken about an hour before you're going to have sex, and your boyfriend should avoid alcohol.

Cialis might be better, it has an effect, if aroused, for upto 36 hours, viagra only about 4 so you need to know you having sex to use it, it’s also quite common for all these drugs not to work the first few uses so maybe don’t expect too much

"Viagra causes the BP to rise" - My understanding is it can lower blood pressure, in fact there is some evidence from trusted sources that Viagra can help treat pulmonary artery hypertension.
Always best to check with a doctor first, however we didn't and have had no problems. It works wonders ! 😊

in fact there is some evidence from trusted sources that Viagra can help treat pulmonary artery hypertension.

viagra (sildenafil ), was originally developed as a treatment for pulmonary hypertension, the ED treatment is actually a side effect.

Sildenafil is used by the NHS to treat pulmonary Hypertension

I'm 59, obviously don't know how old your man is, and was prescribed it a couple of years ago.
Works best for me (us both) if I take it on an empty stomach, with a good glass of water and the only eat light after that before the deed.
Might be best he speaks with his GP. Yeah, it might be a little embarrassing but it's a very common chat to have and they can check out what the underlying issue might be.
Hope it works as well for him as it does for me.

I know Viagra has the brand recognition, but Cialis is much better... it has the same impact but lasts for 36 hours (no his erection won't last that long, just his ability to, like Viagra).

Just take the dose prescribed and relax... faffing around and over-thinking dosages will only increase the anxiety, the very thing that's probably part, or all, of the cause!

I agree with the above. Cialis is far superior to Viagra. It lasts longer, has no side effects and can be bought cheaply online.
