My first time on top

My bf said it would be a huge turn if I go on top (cowgirl). I'd love to try this but never done it before. Always been in missionary.
Any tips or advice for making my first time on top good for both of us?

I like this position as you can control the angle and how deep you want him to go. Personally I think it's nice when you both move together and find a rhythm, rather than the woman doing all the moves. So he would be thrusting as you grind or bounce. I really like leaning back slightly as well as that seems to hit the spot even more.

Well @Hannahjty we find with missionary whilst it's nice for the person lying down when my DW is on top as well (as both being able to contribute to the shenanigans like @GigiAnnna so rightly said) I can also stroke and play which we both enjoy.

Good luck and report back!

Tell him that you're nervous but willing and he'll help. He can put his hands on your hips and help you move in the way he likes and guide you if you need it. When it starts to feel nice, your own body might tell you how to move as well.

OP, it’s not rocket science, it really isn’t, you can help guide him in and then go in a more horizontal position or back on to him. I’m concerned about the above post though, sorry and don’t want to be rude. It’s not just about doing things in the way he likes.

Obviously; but if he guides her on how to move so he likes it she can get an idea of how to move, possibly build confidence, and find a way of moving in the way she enjoys.

This is always my go to position, my partner loves it and so do I. As you are a bit nervous some lube would feel really good for both of you till you are really into it and just let go. Start off slow and see how it feels … if you like it deep you can go into a crouch position with one of your legs… can I ask why you feel nervous? Are you body conscious or just a bit inexperienced hence nervous? Sex doesn’t come natural to a lot of people but I’ve read up on this a lot and it helped when I hadn’t had sex for 5 years after separation! It really helped and also read up on sexual aftercare as well as it really helps with intimacy after sex too! Enjoy I hope this helps 😅
