This is embarrassing! I don't often use a vibrator but had some time to myself so thought I'd give it a try. Sorry you went through all that and glad you're ok now. However, I just wanted to add that you don't have to choose between the two, man or vibe. and oh I certainly do that - usually twice a day - I just don't do it with a vibrator. I do it often in tandem with him if he is not there, by phone or messaging.
