Breastfeeding no libido

I’m 8 months into breastfeeding, and since weaning/me going back to work baby wants to suckle at my boobs all night. If I take my breast away she wakes up screaming. I’m so dehydrated, and my libido is at zero, am unbelievably dry ‘down there’ and it’s really affecting my relationship. Any advice?

My wife was same, dont rush to have sex, do some build up, maybe a massage and a glass of wine without expectation of developing, then use loads of lube if things do go further

Ah, the pleasure of having kids! Just consistently work towards putting normality back in place (it will be slow!) In all areas of your life. It will get better though. Just don't forget about yourself.

Patience.
It's natural that you're tired and not necessarily feeling terribly into sex at the moment. I'm not completely over the science or anything but your hormones will be all over the place whilst you're feeding and that's okay. What's not okay is if you're feeling pressured or being shown a lack of understanding by a partner. I used to joke about how pregnancy and feeding boobs were such a tease as they were completely off limits.

Vaginal oestrogen can help with the dryness if you can get from your gp or sexual health clinic.

You will probably need to be sleeping better to get your libido back - is there any way you can get a break?
