Does anybody actually like semen? Very lightheartedly and jokingly OH recently said, not for the first time, "spunk is gross!" 😂

We appreciate sex is necessarily messy and at the point of ejaculation it feels great for both of us and we'll definitely be continuing with condom-free PIV and oral but shortly afterwards - the feel, taste, smell, not so lovely!

I can't really disagree but wondered if this was unusual?

I know everyone to their own but I actually really like the taste and texture of semen. I love giving BJs to my DH and the whole swallowing and sharing with him after. I especially like, when after PIV sex where he finished in my vagina, I get him to go down on me and 'mop up' then snowball kiss me thereafter. It is probably our only 'kink' with our sex limited to PIV and oral with a few add ons.

It’s like anything that’s a bit of an acquired taste and sensation. If people can get over eating oysters or mussels then I hardly see the problem with semen. But it’s not for everyone.

It doesn’t bother me, I enjoy taking semen in my mouth, it feels especially intimate. However I wouldn’t be lining up to buy spunk flavoured anything 😂

I enjoy swallowing, more the act than actual semen, I don’t hate it but I wouldn’t say I enjoy the flavour or texture.

may years ago my husband asked for morning sex and I wasn’t in the mood, so I told him to have a wank and I would swallow it, since then we have called this a Salty surprise. @Lizzie888, that's filthy, I love It. Interesting question, you'd hope that spunk would be tolerated by the majority, as most guys love the taste of women and love lapping up their juices both before and during the action. To be honest, It all depends on diet and how It tastes, I suppose.

If DH is dehydrated I notice a difference in taste, more bitter. He also tried drinking pineapple juice every day and I must admit I noticed it was nicer but could have been other factors.

Different people can taste very different which I assume is diet related. It might not be a flavour you would go for in an ice cream parlour(!!) but the chemistry and the passion make up for it with the right person.

But never after asparagus, one has to draw the line somewhere.

I must be the only one here 😂 but I hate it. The taste and smell is awful. An ex finished in my mouth once, I swallowed it and when he was doing breakfast I went upstairs and secretly threw up in the toilets 😂 tried a few times with guys before him but no not my thing.

Never ever did I think I would swallow having had awful experiences in my single late teens / early twenties.

I definitely agree with previous posters about the intimacy aspect. There’s something about sharing “fluids” both ways during the act and after 😜 I led a boring sex life for 15 years so I’m enjoying exploring other things and deciding what I like and don’t. I now like semen! 😂
