Just that really. I have them and I feel ashamed. Appointment next week to get them removed and worried what to tell my partner! Any advice hugely welcomed

You have contracted a virus, you are not a bad person. Please try to release your feelings of shame. Tell your partner the absolute truth, no matter how uncomfortable and unsettling that will be. They will no doubt have questions about how this will impact their health, be prepared with the information they need.
