No judgment please...

...I had a drunken night on Saturday and had unprotected sex with a new partner.

There was a tiny bit of oral (no ejaculating) and sex 3 times. He started off without a condom but put a condom mid way.

I know the risks and will get tested.. I hadn't been with anyone but my husband for 13 years (and the last 3 years had no sex). Even when with my husband it was very basic and vanilla so I don't know if my body is just not accustomed to that type of more intense sex but I have been poorly since.

Just a sore throat, and achey and a bit hot.

It may have just been an intense weekend and I will get tested but is there anything to immediately worry about? Also should I have a test soon and again in 4 months or wait a little longer before testing?

Anyone can have an STI and they are usually symptomless. I had an unprotected one night stand with a guy years ago. I never had one symptom but I had a gut feeling to get tested and I was right, I had chlamydia. So just get tested and don't waste time looking out for symptoms or worrying about what the odds are.

@Bexx87 has said all that needs to be said. Your symptoms could be anything or nothing; loads of STIs are symptomless at least initially. Get tested. It's simple and you can get a test kit online

Please get yourself tested.

I also had unprotected sex and ended up with chylmydia and gonorrhoea (yes both!) they were also present in my throat and I had spread both to somebody else who I had to inform.

It progressed rapidly and I had the most horrendous stomach pain, bleeding and disgusting discharge that smelled rotten. It was the worst I had felt in ages. Luckily it was found within a few weeks and I was treated.

Now I don't risk it, anybody new, they wrap up until they can prove a clean STI panel which you can now do at home for free with SH:24
