Well @Leftwith3 as a relative noob to this myself, I've focused on what you can get in without too much preparation. By that I mean as a man with fairly short nails I've tried a finger and it doesn't take much to stimulate and together with working the other end of the orgasm train with my alternate hand means I get to my destination in a rather beautiful and delightful way.

Pegging is a good place to start, you said it was a definite no from him but ask why. I quite like it when in the mood and only use the smallest attachment available that doesn't resemble a penis. We've also got a strapless one but not worked way upto that yet as it's slightly bigger.
