Average Penis Size has increased - Is this good news or is it concerning?

The World Journal of Men's Health, Eisenberg and his colleagues compiled data from 75 studies, conducted between 1942 and 2021, that reported on the penile length of 55,761 men. The team found that the average erect penis length increased by 24% over 29 years, a trend they saw around the world. Erect penile length is getting longer, from an average of 4.8 inches to 6 inches, over the past 29 years.

While it may seem like every man's wish, the team at Stanford is worried that it may be due to exposure to chemicals, sedentary lifestyles and junk food.

Do you think it is concerning or is it good news?

@Sparkybloke and people continue to eat meat and drink animal milk , full of hormones and antibiotics. steps off vegan soapbox

It's not been an issue for millennia so why would it matter now?

@Beneficialchampion2 modern farming on a global scale bears no resemblance to the farming of early humans though

This is the opposite direction that a thread on the sex board normally goes in! 😄

Love a good cock-size thread. I was about to say proudly that mine was over 10 inches. And then I realised I had the tape measure the wrong way round.

Seriously though - vegan food can be very very very nice. Cooking it forces you to think outside the box and work out other ways of doing things. A bit like having a small penis! I do eat meat - I would probably eat less but my DW is a great meatatarian.

I don’t see the above would affect penis size, in anything I would have thought that better health, & better diet would help everyone be healthier and men be taller etc, with everything in proportion.

however exposure to chemicals is certainly a massive cause for concern as men’s fertility rates in the western world are plummeting , sperm counts have declined 50% in 50 years potentially bad news for those ttc.

Is it just me or is this a rather odd thing to study? Like there must be a finite pot of cash for health and medical research, yet these guys get a grant for calculating average nob sizes through the decades. FFS.

Sparkybloke · 01/05/2023 12:47

@Mostar I agree...far better ways to spend money!
