Multiple orgasms - how?

I have one orgasm, through variety of sex, after which I can carry on til he finishes etc, but have never got close to multiple Os. Do you learn how to through experiment, is it a case of some women can, some can't, is it interpretation- eg a multiple is actually separate orgasms in the same session? Interested in your experience plus tips if your learned how to get there thank you!

I count it as multiple times through a sex session.

Once I orgasm, it makes me more prone to having more, as I'm still heightened from the previous one.

For me, the right position PIV can have me orgasming 5 times in 20mins. DP will often just lie still kissing me after my first orgasm and when my energy is back after a minute or so, I move, he stays still, and my next orgasm arrives after a few minutes.

@Inthebathagain This describes exactly how it works with DW. If she's in the "orgasm zone" (for want of a better description) and highly aroused having had one orgasm, another can follow and then another.

The key thing I think is me staying still, not moving or distracting her in any way, just holding her, which gives her opportunity to allow her orgasms (if it's one of those sessions when she is up for several, which isn't every time) to flow naturally from one to the next until she's done and satisfied.

For us it works best when she's on top.

A partner of mine could orgasm up to five times in ten minutes through a combination of PIV, my hand , her hand and dildos, but then she too would be out like a light for many hours before wanting to go again when she woke up.

One GF told me she only came once until she met a man who just told her 'she could come more' and then bizarrely, she did. She said with PIV she would come and he would just carry on. Then she found she could come easily a few times.

I think position of clitoris tends to make it easier for certain women. I also think a girthy penis helps. 80% of women don’t orgasm from PIV alone, so multiples will be less common.

My husband can make me orgasm lots of times in a session either through fingering or intercourse. When I'm doing myself I will cum about 3 times with a few mins in between to recover. A couple of times I've used my wand and had an orgasm where it felt like it had 2 peaks. They are seriously strong vibrators and they come really quick and easy.

I find I'm very tender after I've orgasmed, so it would be a bit painful to carry on with direct stimulation on the clit directly afterwards, but if I or my partner ease off and go very gently for a few minutes, I can keep going for another one, and another, and so on. It's worth experimenting and seeing what's best for you, as everybody's different.

My wife has no problem having an orgasm, in fact she may cum 4 or 5 times during a session. We don't normally have penetrative sex for a long while, but we prefer masturbating each other and performing oral sex and she never fails to orgasm.

It is vital to remember that we are all different. My current partner is able to have multiple orgasms through clitoral stimulation with a vibrator, but after each orgasm she settles back down to almost having to start from scratch. This means that each individual orgasm can take some time to achieve, and manual stimulation of her clitoris is just too tiring (think RSI).

A former FWB used to love being vigorously dildoed while she fingered her clitoris and she would have 20-30 orgasms straight off the bat. Each orgasm was followed by about 30 seconds of rest and then she was eager to go again. Another orgasm would be achieved in less than a minute. Her initial orgasm left her on a plateau that meant that it was very easy for her to come again. In my opinion it is all about finding the right method and levels of stimulation that work for you. I definitely do but it depends on if I'm feeling oversensitive or not. Sometimes I find it unbearable to be touched immediately after orgasm, other times I can cum very quickly again.

Sorry to derail but I have just found this thread! How do you carry on when it all gets too sensitive?! I'm extremely sensitive after orgasm and struggle to handle anything else!

If I'm too sensitive I won't carry on but 9 times out of ten I can go again after a few minutes. With penetrative orgasm I don't get oversensitive so I can just keep coming over and over without any rest period.

Yeah as long as it doesn't feel too much. I often find that my second and third orgasms are more intense than my first as I'm already senstive.

I used to be like this and way too sensitive after orgasm to carry on and I'd also tighten up so also couldn't continue with penetration but my orgasms were very strong and intense. As I've gotten older now late 40s and peri menopausal my orgasms are unfortunately not as strong and intense but I can now have multiple orgasms, although it can take some time to get there. tbh I much preferred my one single amazing intense orgasm that I used to have. I miss it so much. Menopause is cruel
