Lack of sperm when ejaculating

I am in my early 70’s and still enjoy sex, but I have noticed I no longer produce much sperm. In fact there is only a dribble and it is very watery. I still orgasm but the lack of sperm is a concern. I did have a vasectomy 25 years ago.
any advise appreciated.

The sperm produced in your testicles has been reabsorbed back into your body since your vasectomy. The watery fluid you’ve noticed is semen, it’s quantity decreases with age & I don’t think it’s anything to be concerned about. You may feel like your orgasms are becoming less powerful, it’s apparently just a part of the aging process.

I asked this question on this Board a few months ago. I'm 57 and wondered if I could expect my semen volume to decline over the next few years. The consensus seemed to be probably, yes. It's just part of the normal aging process as @Mermaidparades has said. However it needn't interfere with the enjoyment of sex at all.

If your concerns continue I suggest you see your GP for reassurance.

Thanks for your replies. I meant to say semen not sperm.

Ah, no worries! The terms are so similar.

My husband noticed this , was checked out and found to have Prostate Cancer , no other symptoms so worth being checked out , don't be alarmed unlikely to be the sme thing .
