Thrush on mouth?

So I had sex with my partner last Saturday and around Monday I realised I have vaginal thrush which I’ve had previously…I have the typical symptoms of white thick discharge, soreness etc nothing too extreme and I’ve started taking the cream for it. Im now wondering if I also have oral thrush as at the same time I noticed the vaginal thrush one corner of my lip was and still is very dry and it looked split and now looks crusty I searched up what it could be and it says angular cheilitis which is a fungal infection like thrush so without getting into too much details is it possible that I got it from having oral sex with my partner after we had vaginal sex as my fluids were on him and I would’ve put them in my mouth and could’ve transmitted the vaginal thrush to my mouth etc? It’s not herpes as there’s no blisters etc it’s just very dry, sore, split and crusty.

This is really a question for a Doctor, but having checked Dr Google treatment is the same as for thrush; Clotrimazole cream (Cannestan is an example) that you apply to the sore.

I would be surprised if you got it from giving oral, I’m sure that your normal washing or showering would have been enough to reduce the bacteria around your mouth.

It’s more likely that your body may be susceptible to thrush and cheilitis for another reason.

as I said : speak to a Doctor.
