I want to purchase a decent vibrator. Just looked at love honey and they have a discount on at present. Trouble is, I don't know which to buy. They all look like you need a degree to be able to use it!

Help please.

Magic wand or Doxy wand. Beautiful, satisfying orgasms from both. The Doxy is a bit better.

Great, will rake a look!

get the womaniser if you don't have it already

Runaround50 · 04/04/2023 13:07

Will look at that also.
I have none at the mo.

You might like the suction base dildos for a hands free experience
I like the 'lady finger' because I'm not keen on large dildos and I don't like using my fingers so that's the perfect girth.

MaryJean87 · 04/04/2023 13:35

Have a think about what type of stimulation you want as we're all different. There's suction types like the Womanizer or Satisfyer pro 2, that can deliver intense orgasms, but for me personally the build up is too slow and I struggle to keep it in place as the pleasure builds. I prefer deep rumbly vibrations where I can move it around and angle it till I reach the right moment to climax. I also enjoy rabbit vibrators for the combined clitoral and internal pleasure.

I have a Hitachi mains powered wand vibrator which is just OMG and gives the most amazing orgasms so is definitely recommended. Also have a couple of soft silicone dildos that are great when you need some inside.

Runaround50 · 04/04/2023 14:55

I'm going to have fun choosing a suitable one I can see.

Usually I can cum with my fingers within a couple of minutes. But I need something which is going to allow me to take my time and stop start. I want internal pleasure also ( particularly as I'm having an insatiable surge at present!)

Internal get a slim g spot curved one they specifically hit that spot
You might want to consider if it's worth paying more for a quieter version, a main charge or batteries or if you want something waterproof. Definitely worth getting lube, too.
I cum within a couple of minutes with womanizer but take a little longer with a bullet vibrator.

Runaround50 · 08/04/2023 17:08

Forget to mention, I need a toy which is fairly quiet and for mostly internal pleasure.

Still undecided!

You get what you pay for and a Doxy wand, a Lelo Soraya or a Womaniser will do better than cheaper alternatives. But until you know what sort of toys you enjoy, buy a cheaper alternative (or three), and if you find something you like, as soon as you've worn it out, invest in a better one.
I think Lovehoney has quite often produced cheaper, own brand versions of some of the better toys.

Runaround50 · 09/04/2023 11:31

@Estherpologist thanks.
I've never had a toy before, so the choice is quite overwhelming!

Love honey often has sales on too, like 50% vibrators for one evening only. If you sign up to the emails you’ll get notified when that happens. I got a mini wand off there and it’s good. It’s got lots of settings including pulse etc. I would like a womaniser too, as I’ve heard such good things about it. Think I’ll treat myself to one with my work bonus! Lol

MaryJean87 · 10/04/2023 12:32

Zanatdy, what mini wand do you have? I'm looking for a mini one to take away on holiday but I'm worried it will feel like nothing compared to the plug in ones I've got. Even my most powerful rabbit feels like nothing after getting used to them.

Runaround50 · 10/04/2023 12:48

Too much choice! Plus I couldn't get a rabbit one; I gave two rabbits for pets. It would feel wrong!

Just a basic vibrator will do the job i think. Nothing too noisy or earth shattering.
