Been with partner 14 years. Used to have sex up to six times a day. Now it’s two times and he moans that we don’t ‘make love’. I tell him it’s not possible for me to make love twice a day but that basic sex is what it is. He says I never jump on him. Again I don’t need to as I get sex twice a day. Am desensitised to love making. I tell him he shd be thankful for what he does get but he thinks I am in the wrong. Does anyone out there still make love twice a day nearly every single day?

Sometimes we'll do it twice if it's the weekend and we have time before the kids are awake. Otherwise it's usually once a day. Love it.

In an ideal scenario I would be having a quickie in the morning and a full ‘making love’ session in the evening . However, my DP is rarely interested in sex in the morning. We generally have sex 3-5 evenings/week. I think you’re doing pretty well!!

Watch out if you change your progesterone from 2x a day days 1-15 to once every day it's properly messed with my DW's clock and she's been on more than off the last couple of months, she's now reverting to previous regime as it was properly doing her head in.

Wow, twice a day! That's what I'd call a big stack of sex! I think probably in my 20s/30s I'd have loved to be doing it at that rate. In my mid-50s I still love sex just as much and I don't actually think I'm that much different physically. But good quality, relaxed and often intense sessions 2-3 times a week are more typical for DW and me.

Partly it's want of opportunity of moments when we're both not tired, working late or caught up in domestic commitments of one kind and another. But I've actually grown to like the gaps of a couple of days when we don't do it. There's something about enjoying the anticipation of those particular times/days of the week when we are both going to be relaxed, undisturbed and up for it, with couple of hours just to ourselves.

Once a day during the week and twice a day on weekends! Sunday evenings is always Prosecco and porn together.
