Just to say, I’m a woman despite my user name - it’s a Peep Show reference.

I’ve not long come out of a sexless relationship and realised I might like to get back on the horse with a FWB situation. However, I’m now in my 40s and just can’t be bothered shaving or waxing and all that like I used to.

Does it matter that much to men or are they happy with natural?

Good hygiene, well groomed, clean and tidy ?, because I imagine they will expect the same from you.

Let’s not pretend that the expectations around body hair fall equally to men and women. I’ve already stated that I have a preference for natural but I gather most men expect women to be hairless from the eyebrows down. Also, good hygiene is a given isn’t it? Not sure that falls into ‘preferences’.

Unfortunately, I’ve experienced sexual abuse in the past so need to be able to trust a man before I can really let myself be vulnerable with him. I don’t want a serious relationship, just a friend I can see now and again.

I hear you OP. The endless treadmill of hair removal is one of several reasons why I'll never bother with a relationship again. It's so unjust that women feel they must depilate every area of there body to be presentable for sex. Why can't men be as attracted to us in our natural state as we are to them!

In answer to your question, I think there are broadly speaking two categories of heterosexual men: those who are attracted to women and those who think they're attracted to women but really are attracted to femininity. These are the ones who are happy to go with T-girls if they've had enough surgery and pass well enough. Find one of the real woman lovers and you'll be ok.

I don't shave anywhere. In the summer I keep my legs and armpits short enough to not look like a gorilla, but long enough that I feel like it looks deliberate, not just stubbly. (This is a delicate balance that is probably entirely played out in my own mind - I've certainly never noticed anyone looking askance at my legs or pits.) And I haven't trimmed my pubes for over a decade.

My marriage ended last year. I warned my current boyfriend beforehand, he doesn't care, and tells me now he likes it.

Although I've actually literally just booked for a waxing - which will definitely not be all of it off - because I'm getting a vch piercing and want to be able to clean it easily at first. Then I think I'd like to be able to see it clearly, so will see what it looks like as the hair grows back.
