Taking progesterone pill wrong days

Purplestarsxo · 16/02/2023 11:50

Im just wondering if anyone could help?
I have just started taking the progesterone pill (cerelle)

I have been taking the pill for 7 days but stupidly noticed this morning I haven’t been following the days of the week and just been taking any of the pills.

I know I’m stupid and should of read the instructions and checked the pack properly.
Does anyone know if this means I am not protected now?
If I start taking it correctly tomorrow I shall take it from the day and from the first line then I follow it around and when I get towards the end of the pack I take the extra days left on the top before starting a new strip?
Thank you

I also take this and I'm fairly certain all the pills are exactly the same so I don't think it should matter but do try and follow the pattern, if you're anything like me you won't remember if you took it or not so it helps knowing where you're at!

You are fine it's just a memory aid like @soggydigestives says.

Doesn’t matter at all. All pills identical. Take one a day everyday no gaps . The days of the week are just supposed to help you know if you’ve taken it today I think.

The mini pill tablets are all the same. The combined pill is the one with placebo pills, so as you're on the mini pill you're fine.

It doesn’t matter, I never follow the days, it’s just to help you know if you’ve taken one or not
