I went down on my boyfriend and it tasted like metal?

So I went down on my boyfriend today and it had a strong taste of metal?! It's never tasted like this before... it wasn't exactly a 'bad taste' but it wasn't good either... it was literally like I had coins in my mouth... he usually doesn't really have a taste...

He's started drinking lots of vitamin drinks one of which is zinc and magnesium can this cause the taste? Afterwards it even left an odour of metal in the room.

There is anecdotal evidence that what a man eats will affect the taste of his semen...strong food flavours (spices) can adversely affect taste. As does smoking. Fruit juices such as pineapple and cranberry are supposed to improve the taste in so far as it can be! So high consumption of vitamin or mineral supplements may have an effect but I'd say its unlikely to be major...

Men come in more flavours than a good Italian ice cream parlour. It is all very diet related. In this case it may have been the energy drinks. Indeed, I doubt if they would have helped.

I would recommend a daily dose of strawberries and pineapple juice as well. Not only will it help him to stay healthy (energy drinks are usually loaded with sugar too), it will improve his flavour. Oh, and avoid asparagus.

According to my partner, I can taste a little metallic after eating asparagus.
