I'm curious what your opinions are on a recent conversation I was part of...

Which would you prefer, and why?

Occasional amazing sex with someone a good distance away/regularly unavailable

OR

Lots of ok to poor sex with someone close by.

Having both is not an option!

Up until last year I was seeing some great guys further away who were quite often unavailable but also some ok guys in my village.
I the great sex satisfied me for a few days, the ok sex for only a morning or evening. Both situations were frustrating but if I can to pick I'd say great sex further away.

Fortunately iv met my bf who lives 10 mins away and it's the best sex whenever I want it.

Assuming that there is no particular emotional relationship in either situation, then I'd choose the frequent OK local sex option over the distant great sex option.
The distance would never get shorter, but the OK sex could be worked on to improve it.
But if there was emotional involvement, then I'd choose the distance relationship (and have in the past).

I was in a long term relationship with someone in Paris- I live in London. We would alternate cities evey 2 weeks and when we got together we rarely got out of the flat until 4pm! So its the first for me .
