Middle aged post orgasmic etiquette

The closer I get to the deep end of middle aged dating, the more I'm wondering (not worrying) about details.

In those post orgasmic moments, do middle aged daters reach of the tissues, or just enjoy the moment and not get hung up on the sticky bits?
I'm sure when I was younger I definitely was happiest with the latter, but when marital sex just got a bit functional, tissues were the first port of call. So I guess my question is whether that's part of stale marriage sex or middle age?

30 years into a relationship and still very much enjoy the moment and its afterglow.

Experience does however mean that tissues are on hand but certainly not high on the agenda.

With the several partners I've had since my 20yr marriage ended, they've all been lie back and enjoy the moment. Tissues come later.

I don't think age is anything to do with it. I'm middle aged and quite happy to lie in a sweaty cummy mess with DP. I have wet wipes in the bedside drawer but they're not the first thing I reach for.

I guess if a couple is having fairly perfunctory sex within a busy schedule then having a quick clean up would be sensible.

I’m 50 something and with new partner, she prefers me to finish inside her and then stay inside her.
at 1st we used condoms,( nice & tidy) but have dropped those after SH tests, we just like to enjoy each other,

also The err “volume “ is not what is was and sometimes if we go “round 2l”, it’s almost nothing

I think the difference is the neither of us are out to prove anything, I cannot go all night and she cannot twist into crazy positions, so we just enjoy it a middle aged couple,

In later middle age have given up on tissues and using condoms as it saves using them and saves the trees. The ribbed ones are very effective for us both.

In my 20's I am unable to recall the tiisue box and simply enjoyed the after effect of lying back and mutual pleasure.

By all means use condoms if that works best for you, but thinking that the plastic waste caused by a condom and it's wrapper is better for the environment than using a few biodegradable tissues is crazy.

More of a tissue and clear up now... but that wasn't my point. Claiming to be "saving the trees" from not using a few tissues whilst creating plastic waste instead is absurd.

I have always been a rather obsessive wipe up afterwards until partner stopped me and wanted to watched it come out of me (yes I know prob a porn thing). However he then did something I've never experienced before; giving me oral sex. It was the most mind blowing second orgasm I've ever had and he is definitely a very generous lover for doing that.
