I had one done a few months ago after thinking about for ages. Had it done when DH was away to let heal. Really pleased with it ....had some nerves when it was done. DH was delighted when he discovered it and I love it now

I'm a man with a PA so no direct experience but I'd love to meet a woman with VCH. I doubt that it will be the magic path to super-wild orgasms but I guess it will often remind you that it is there in the nicest of ways. Worst case is that it is a great target for any lover who finds it hard to find the right spot!

@Marieg1990 how was it getting it done?

I have one and I love it. The actual piercing was painful but over quickly, and the healing was quick and very straightforward - honestly, from the moment the piercing was in, I never felt a moment's discomfort. My only regret is not having it done years ago!

Had mine done in April. It hurt like a bastard but only for a moment. Used the salt spray they gave me and left well alone. Was able to have sex a week later but DP stayed well away from my clit for a few weeks.

Bear in mind you won't be able to use pools or jacuzzis for at least 8 weeks.

Got mine done over 10 years ago and love it, it's never been a problem. I actually went to get it done with a friend that had one already. It hurt like a bitch for a few seconds when it got pierced then a bit of throbbing the rest of the day but was fine after that and I love the way it looks. Probably the best part is that a vibrator on it feels amazing and sends me into orbit! I do know 2 of my friends are pierced there also.

It was ok. I was nervous about the whole experience. Made sure I had been waxed the day before so no hair to get in the way. The process was explained and a freeze spray put in...doesn't freeze though so presume numbs it. I could still feel it definitely. A real "ouch" when he pierced it but was fine straight after.

Kept scrupulously clean after to avoid any infection but was really fine. I loved the look and also feel. DH was away for 10 days so was ideal really to let it heal but when he found it I just asked him to be really gentle for a time. Had several months now and really happy with it.

I would suggest that it is much better look etc if you are shaved or waxed as otherwise not really much for your partner to see.

Agree with @Marieg1990 that ideally you want to be waxed / shaved down there for the look and feel, although this can make it more visible. I have had one girlfriend on a hen do ask me if I was pierced down there as she said she thought she had perhaps seen my VCH through my bikini!

Yes agree it can make it more visible. This tends to be with lighter plain bikini's where it definitely can show if someone looks enough! Conversely if you wear a dark patterned one it won't show through.

My DH actually admitted he quite liked it showing a little when we were on holiday last month so didn't mind me wearing a white bikini which is my favourite. However, as any woman who is bare below knows, light bikinis can also show a camel toe especially when shaved fully so be aware

Yes fully shaved down there as have a tattoo.

On the pelvic 'mound' area I've got a colourful flower & hummingbird.
Funny when I had a c section they sliced through the top of the wings & flower. They stitched it back in line perfect! I just have a white line scar running through the tattoo now.

My DH said he would love me to get one, I was wondering is it suitable for a more mature lady? @lauraUK1000 you mentioned a girlfriend saw yours on a hen night, I’m afraid I’m long past hen nights 😂

How do you handle the reaction from your beautician? Whatever about my DH knowing I have some bling down there, I’d die of embarrassment if my beautician or my genie said something

@KatieByTheSea ..I can't see why an older woman wouldn't like /be suitable as much as younger women...I think it is a case of how she would want to wear it. As per my previous, it doesn't really do anything if lost in a load of wild pubes!

In respect of a beautician seeing. I've had the same beautician for years now. She was the one that suggested I try a full wax, more so because she could see I had a really high bikini wax especially when going on holiday and could see I was shaving a lot higher so she just gently suggested I tell her how high I wanted and she would do properly with wax. I was embarrassed the first couple of times of really, it is always the first of my beauty treatment regime....she does several full waxes every day which is what she stressed to me to not worry and feel embarrassed. The same with the piercing...when she first saw it she just commented how nice it looked and that she had seen a lot of her clients getting them done over the last two years...joked she might get one herself.

I really wouldn't worry....beauticians have seen and heard it all. Is in a days work for them.

I don't think age matters. I'm 48 and only had mine done recently.

My beautiful was unfazed when she did my wax. I just told her I'd had a piercing and she said it was very nice. No big deal.

Did you just go to a normal tattoo/piercing shop to get it done?

Yes, I went to a reputable piercing studio - they only do piercings, not tattoos. I emailed them first to ask if they do VCH piercings. They said I'd need an anatomy check first to make sure it was feasible but, if that was ok, I could go ahead and have it done at the same appointment.

@KatieByTheSea @MsMiaWallace There's no reason at all not to get one as a more mature lady. I got mine at 25 but don't see any reason why this could not be 45 or 65. My waxer at the time didn't care one bit and just said 'nice piercing' the first time she saw it and had me make sure it was covered over where she was waxing at the time. I've since got my pubes lasered so they don't grow back and I don't need to get it waxed anymore. That said, my doctor has seen it, some people getting changed at the gym / swimming have seen, a few friends know and a few girl friends have got this piercing also since.

At this point, metaphorically speaking, I really don't care who see's it. It's not like I walk around showing it off to people at all, quite the opposite, but I am not embarrassed to have a piercing there and love the look and feel of it.

Had mine for 18 years. Had it done when I was 16. Had all sorts in mine, a bar, a hoop, dangles etc I've now got a little horseshoe in there. I've never really known sex without it - I took it out once to try it and it felt weird. Hubby has always thought it looks pretty and likes the feel of it on his tongue. HOWEVER i had it before I met him and if he ever asked me to take it out I wouldn't. As for the pain, I don't remember but I binned the certificate so my mum didn't see it and got on the bus home haha

As for smears and doctors/smears etc I don't care. Cba with the faff of taking it out for that. Leave your dignity at the door and pick it up on the way out is my thinking

For anyone who has a piercing is the feeding from a VCH piercing better than a horizontal piercing?

I think a curved barbell with crystals looks very pretty. From what I have read on the Internet you’re not guaranteed to be suitable for a VCH.

The V means that the piecing rests on your clit. A horizontal might be too restricting near it? Curved bars are nice but they can be 'loose' compared to a straight bar. Hoops are fun but I find them not enough sensation. Same for spirals. Dangles are cute but heavy. The horseshoe I've got now is good, it's a ring shape for hubby to enjoy with his mouth but also had balls for my stimulation. Open to trying new things though

I love crystals down there BUT I have learnt that really the only way to have something pretty is using coloured titanium. With it being wet down there crystals tarnish and go black. It ends up looking not so nice.
That's my personal experience though.
If you buy diamonds they won't tarnish but mine were standard piercing CZ balls

One thing I did think about with labour/smears etc I bought some invisible bars to pop in but I took them out the jiffy and never saw them again, they were that invisible 😂😂😂

@Mommyshere So the anatomy check is basically putting a cotton bud under the clit hood to see if there is room for jewelry / bar to come through.

I got mine done right after my 17th birthday and went with a friend who got hers done at the same time. I got the VCH (vertical) as I liked the look better than a horizontal one. Never had a problem with it and still love it. I've mainly had a curved titanium barbell in and have tried other things including jewels but they have generally discolored after some time.
