I just had my implant put in today and completely forgot about the plaster whilst I was in the bath. Is the plaster just to minimise bruising or have I implicated the effectiveness of the implant? I had it put in years ago sorry if I sound dumb ! ☺️

It's to stop the bleeding after the implant was put in. You won't have done any harm to yourself.

I was told no shower/bath for a couple of days after having it in to reduce the risk of infection. I'd just give it a quick wipe with antiseptic or something and let the air get to it now to help it scab over XD You can always put a new plaster on I guess?

@Notconfident I left the plaster off & ive got a massive bruise but all is well 😂 lol
