Can anyone recommend some decent quality erotic fiction? I’ve downloaded a few free samples on my kindle and it’s all be awful.

Not the best font. Ol Joes collection was my favourite. It has auto scroll too.

MinnieMountain · 12/05/2022 07:36

Thank you everyone. I see my local library has some Beth Kery.

"Velvet Glove", or anything else by Emma Holly. "The Tutor" by Portia Da Costa, "Ecstasy Unveiled" by Larissa Ione, "The Buthcher" by Alina Reyes. Agree with Beth Kery, although her men are very Alpha-male stereotype.

Shirleyjust · 17/05/2022 12:33

Writing your own can be fun

Mumatoo · 23/05/2022 18:57

Check your library catalog topics for erotic literature or under audience for mature content. Some authors like Maya Banks write a lot at different levels. Other authors like Lorelei James or Olivia Cunning do big series with interconnecting characters.

Shirleyjust · 23/05/2022 20:08

Most of the stuff I've looked at is the cliched passive woman/alpha male stuff. I suppose other people must like it, or they wouldn't publish so much of it

mmmmmmghturep · 16/06/2022 00:55

I just finished a book called Naughty by Velvet. It was £1 in Poundland. It was alright but not a patch on the Black Lace books i used to read when i was younger. It was written under a psuedonym and i suspect it was a bloke because of the way breasts kept being described as.

Nomad98 · 16/06/2022 17:18

@Shirleyjust hi have you ever written anything of your own? It's something I enjoy doing myself

Nomad98 · 16/06/2022 22:14

@B1rdflyinghigh thanks for the link..looks like some good stuff there

FireandBrimstone · 17/06/2022 10:04

Literotica

Ione78 · 17/06/2022 21:42

@mmmmmmghturep , I used to love those! Did you have any favourite books? I liked the ones by Emma Holly, Portia Da Costa and Mathilde Madden. You can still pick them up 2nd hand in charity shops.

mmmmmmghturep · 17/06/2022 22:26

YY Mathilde Madden wrote some brilliant serialisations for the Cliterature section of Scarlet magazine.

My first BL book came free with New Woman magazine back in 1995 It was The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea by Cheryl Mildenhall. BL books were written by women for women and i never saw a womans vulva etc being described as quality sushi in one of those.

Ione78 · 17/06/2022 22:57

@mmmmmmghturep , I have fond memories of the shower scene in the Mildenhall book! I like it when the women characters are the ones that are dominant or doing the seducing. Portia da Costa's Tutor book was good for this, with Rosalind seducing young David.

Have you read Equal Opportunities by Mathilde Madden? There's a scene where the heroine fantasises about what she'd like to do to two twin brothers - it might be too much for some, but I found the taboo nature of it very exciting!

Justanotherguy2021 · 18/06/2022 12:02

You could look on literotica.com

There's a huge amount of topics available, searchable by many different criteria.

KathyNorthWest · 25/06/2022 19:29

Was a book called Rough Trade by Emma Allan. Made me fantasise about being seduced by a muscle-bound builder for a couple of years after reading, lol. My copy got lent out a lot!

Chickenkatsu · 25/06/2022 21:22

There's this on reddit:

Pandora984 · 27/06/2022 21:38

@MinnieMountain do you have kindle unlimited? There's loads of books on there free to read. All different tropes. Den of Vipers is a favourite of mine, along with Kate Stewart's Ravenhood trilogy. Sara Cate is really good too! There's far too many to recommend! 🌶🔥🥵

PussGirl · 28/06/2022 13:57

I have a book called Behind Closed Doors by Alina Reyes.

It's a series of chapters that link together by the reader choosing which to go to next from the suggestions at the end of each.

It reads from front to middle or from back to middle, from a male or female perspective.

Some really steamy stuff in it!

Thelodger · 28/06/2022 14:51

@PussGirl , have you read "The Butcher", by the same author? The bit in the shower!

PussGirl · 28/06/2022 15:45

@Thelodger - no I haven't - thanks for the tip!

If it is a tip - it might be the worst thing you've ever read Grin

Judyordinary · 03/07/2022 12:27

Does anyone know of any authors who can do realistic scenes of oral on women? Thanks

Nomad98 · 03/07/2022 17:41

@Judyordinary
Me ....lol...or so I've been told😜
