Has anyone tried this? My boyfriend wants me to do this to him, insert something there. I wanted to know if anyone has done this or had it done to them? Is it dangerous?

Sounds awful and pretty dangerous. I was once catheterised in hospital and believe me it's no fun...and a catheter is sterile and intended to go up there! As others have said UTI's are not fun and the tissue inside would be easily damaged by anything with a snag ..if anything gets stuck up there!!! Does not bear thinking about..at the least you would have some explaining at A and E and at the worst ...well best not even think...don't stick anything up there would be my advice...his or yours...

Look up Intermittent Catheterising or Self Catheter. They come in different sizes and they are lubricated. The men's ones are longer I believe.

Well it seems it is a fetish. You learn something new every day they say although not something I would ever do or want done but that's just me... Do ensure strict hygiene and only use toys designed for the purpose if you plan to try. It is certainly not without risk so you and your boyfriend need to be aware of the potential dangers...uti's, internal damage, things getting stuck...be very gentle...

I don't think it goes in deep, its almost a fetish about liquids. He's said it only goes in at the tip and that it's something about it being personal/intimate.

Haven’t done it personally but would second what others have said about risk of infection. From what I’ve heard, it is really important to take precautions such as learning to properly sterilise any equipment, wear disposable gloves, use lots of lube. Worth reading into all of this before you do it.

As long as the toys you might use are designed for that purpose, and sterile, then I really don't see what the problem is.

Once again we have people here who are more than happy to voice their negative opinions about a practice they have never tried. The OP asked whether anyone had tried it, and whether it was dangerous, not whether anyone found the prospect of it to be bonkers, scary, or awful.

PS: I have tried it; it was an enjoyable experience, not injurious, but not one that I'd be hung up on having it done on multiple occasions.
