Missionary position

My husband seems to not particularly like the missionary position .
He prefers me on top and we do try various positions but he never seems to initiate the missionary position , it seems like hard work to him as if it's too much effort ?
Just wondered what others thought

I think Missionary is good start position, and can easily be moved on to others, but cow girl is always good 👍🏼

For me as a male, I find missionary the most intimate and love it for that reason.

He sounds a bit lazy if missionary is too much effort. It's hardly bedroom gymnastics!

For me (male) I wouldn't say missionary is hard work. It's one of the easiest positions, but not the most exciting.

Absolutely love missionary, it's my favourite and luckily my boyfriend likes it too, though he likes variety which is fine with me. If I've had sex without love it isn't ideal as it's so close and intimate.
