Any couples used an online sex coach / counsellor?

I'm not sure if what I'm after even exists but if it does I'd like personal experiences/ recommendations.

DH and I are in a loving relationship and have been together a long time, over ten years. All the good intentions are there but our sex life has just never quite been what we'd want it to be, for lots of different reasons. We've tried to work through them ourselves but it hasn't improved and I really think we'd benefit from some expert help.

What I have in mind is someone who is like an inbetween coach and therapist e.g. could listen to the issues, provide advice but also give actual physical tips and - ideally - maybe even be present via video cam to watch and coach vocally. I don't know if that last part would be a step too far but it would be really helpful if it was possible!

Has anyone had experience of anything similar at all?

Have you looked at tantric somatics OP? These are psychosexual teachers using tantric methods. This is both physical and psychological methods to enhance the sexual experience.
I would imagine that online conversations are the norm nowadays.

@Mysticguru I've just been looking at that actually. Some of it looks like it would help but it sounds a bit too theoretical rather than physical for what I was hoping for?

Not theoretical at all. It'll help you discuss any hang ups that you may have and why, then suggest ways of discovering each other more intimately.

Have a look at the goop sex programme on Netflix
It’s an interesting watch and might give you some ideas

Thank you @Thisisworsethananticipated that looks like it may be a great start for us and a good springboard to decide if we actually do want / are ready for shelling out to find someone or can actually move things forward between ourselves.

Definitely
I liked (and who know if they make this up !) the quiz they do about your sexual style

It’s an eye opener and at times horny
Let me know how you get on !!!!

We've had face to face counselling and online sessions (due tolockdown). Neither have really got as far as dealing with sex properly (as much as I wanted them to). That said, I honestly think face to face is better. It provides a neutral territory and if you get to difficult topics it's easier to leave it behind emotionally when the session ends. (The idea of a "safe space" is flawed for me when it comes to couples therapy.)
I realise you may be looking for something that's more "sex" than "relationship" but I hope this helps. Good luck. ❤
