When do you bring up STD testing?

I get tested before any prospective partner but how do you approach asking a new partner whether they have been tested etc. These days you can share your results but still feels like an awkward conversation

I just said "I've recently been tested for STIs, I'm on the pill but before we ditch the condoms would you get tested too?"

I think these days it's perfectly acceptable to bring it up very matter of fact early on.

Like you say - you get tested before any new perspective partner - at the same time I would just have a conversation with said person and ask them if they'll have one too. I'd just be frank and say i'm having an STI test please will you have one too before i get naked ;)

Hi, I came straight out with it and he actually had been tested too and has offered to email me the results. Modern times!
