Airbrushed nipples

I guess this could be on the AIBU or Feminism boards.
I was looking at the Agent Provocateur website and got really irritated by the airbrushing. There is a product line that looks as though its very see through at the same time as having really nice bold colours. Except there is no way of telling how see through it is because they have airbrushed all the nipples out.
I get that they want to be seen as a high class lingerie brand, not a porn site, so I can kinda get why they airbrush see through panties, but it's not like anyone visiting the website is looking for a tweed twinset and pearls. And this is a brand that sells lingerie that's so impractical no one would ever wear it except for sex, and high class BDSM items.
AIMU to be irritated by this fake prudishness?

OP. I’m with you all the way on this.

You want to see what something looks like on a real body, especially considering the prices involved.

The irony is that men have nipples too, yet only ours are seen as taboo.

Now, where did l put those pearls...?

Yes. Sometimes you want see-through, sometimes not, and it’s annoying when it arrives to find it is the opposite and they deceived you like this.

I can’t remember the site now, but one I came across made it easy by having the item tag tucked into the item such that it showed (or didn’t show). A clever way of helping customers!

Of course tags are not normally seen at all.

Considering what can so easily be seen online with little effort, I find this very prudish and silly.

I think this is actually a legislative issue, not their choice or to do with their brand image.
