Most of the vaginas are nicer than mine

A bit embarrassing, but wouldn’t discuss this in real life. I’ve never really liked my vagina. It’s quite tucked away, no inner lips showing etc, but it’s quite big? As in the outer lips. Having watched Naked attraction, the majority I saw were very neat, tucked away ones, mine just seems a bit different, goes quite low and big outer lips. Does anyone have similar, no idea if this is normal or not

Not the same issue but after babies and having my episiotomy stiches tear open slightly, I worried about mine not being the same anymore. Looking in the mirror I could see scarring still had it checked out recently and all is fine. Also, took a photo and compared with other images online and feel much more confident about mine. I've seen a few a with large lips some with hardly any. They are all different and the same. If you're very overweight your mons pubis and whole area will likely potrude/bulge.

Names matter. Using the correct names for your body parts is important. You never hear about men incorrectly naming their sexual organs, why should we accept it when women cannot name their sexual organs correctly? It saves a hell of a lot of time and embarrassment with medical professionals if you can name where you have an issue, and it is important that we are familiar with our bodies.

Just googled a Cosmo article and the so called perfect type I meant and had seen on the show a lot, is the least common apparently, I was assuming most were like this. I feel better seeing the diagrams and quite surprised by some, I guess you’d have go be super confident to get naked on the show anyway, so wouldn’t have any issues down below!

And yes sorry, I meant the outer part, I don’t dare to think about what’s going on inside, after a baby and stitches etc 🙈I just meant the outer appearance

Honestly, naked attraction is not a comparison website. They’ve been buffed and primped for a tv appearance! Just be glad you’re not the hairdresser/makeup artist 😂

Try growing hair all over it and not looking and worrying so much is my advice.

Listen. No genitalia are pretty, male or female. They are just not aesthetically pleasing. The main thing is whether they function properly (and also whether they can give/feel pleasure!)

Oh op I totally get what you mean. One of dh’s friends described an ex girlfriend as having a fanny like a badly packed kebab. I think that’s a pretty good description of mine too and I always hated how mine looked until I completely destroyed by having children, now it probably looks more like the aforementioned punched lasagne. Anyway, I don’t give a fuck anymore as I just don’t look at it. Dh is so grateful if he ever gets near it that he also couldn’t care what it looks like and if you don’t like yours just don’t look. Anyone else you allow near it should just be honoured that you’ve let them

So seeing others I’m relieved to be honest and mine is actually alright, sad though that all we see is these perfect ones in porn etc, which are apparently the least common 🤷🏻‍♀️How must that make poor teenage girls etc feel. I remember being unsure at that age, but at least didn’t have all the images of what it supposedly ‘Should look like’ shoved in our faces. Plus there wasn’t the pressure to get rid of all hair etc too.

I didn’t realise how varied vulvas were, until i was much older. They are all so different. It’s impossible to compare because there really is no normal.

I’m sure it looks totally normal OP. They aren’t particularly nice looking things in general, neither are a man genitalia.... I can guarantee that a man wouldn’t care what it looked like as long as it worked!

I’ve no idea what mine looked like before I had kids, but now it looks like I’ve got two cats tongues (badly) stitched on that been hacked off a bit at the bottom. It’s not pretty but I’m sure it’s within the realm of normal

I hate this and I do blame porn! Yet another way to feel bad
about yourself as a "normal" woman - if you don't have a word with yourself.
Porn is the reason pubic hair and any natural variation in labia other than the often surgically altered "neat" ones seen on screen are criticized and critiqued.
I feel especially upset for younger women and girls and also for the skewed perception given to teenage boys now.

As previous posters have said they greatly vary. At least that according to the nurse who did my last smear who when I said "its a bit of a mess but its clean" replied "I've seen thousands in my time all different, don't worry". I believed her - she was nearing retirement and obviously very very experienced because when I asked her if she'd started she said she'd already finished!!

I wonder if she sees women walking down the street and thinks "what an untidy vulva you have" or "yours was impeccable"

What’s even more worrying is the people saying they haven’t seen theirs or just don’t look! You can’t NOT look at mine, it just hangs out. I feel you OP it’s not nice but having said that the only people who care, is us 😕

Yes I know how you feel, mine is padded, shall we say. More like the ones you see on old naked paintings than in modern day. Mons venus etc. It does bother me sometimes but there isn't a lot I can do. No one has every reacted badly to it but I definitley wouldnt go on Naked Attraction (for a number of reasons actually hahahaha).
