Pain on orgasm

Before anyone says it - yes if it carries on I’ll talk to a doctor - but I’m a bit embarrassed and wondered if anyone has experienced similar.

In the last 3 or 4 weeks it’s suddenly begun hurting when I orgasm - a sharp pain on the right hand side about where my c-section scar is (it’s not scar related - it’s old and the pain feels much deeper)

It doesn’t matter if I’m having PIV sex or coming another way and I ache like period pains for hours after.

Won’t be an STD - long term married. No other symptoms - no bleeding during sex or anything.

Any ideas / anyone ever had similar? I’m 41 in case age makes a difference

Have you had medical advice yet OP? I had similar pain when having an orgasm when I was in my mid-40s. Eventually had a scan and cysts were found. I had a biopsies which revealed endometrial cancer and ended up having a total hysterectomy which thankfully got rid of the cancer completely as it was at an early stage and hadn't spread beyond the womb. Not saying you could have the same but please get checked.

Hope you don’t mind me resurrecting your thread as I am having the same problem. I’m 48 and have never had this before either. Did you go see your Doctor?

I did - they’re sending me for a routine scan - might be a cyst they think - waiting list is 6-8 weeks in my area so you might want to call sooner rather than later to get the ball rolling
