Dry Orgasms - how aware are men when this happens to them ?

Just that really .

I'm in a new relationship and this seems to be the norm when he orgasems. We are both in our 70s and he has a number of health issues and on a range of medication .I'm hoping this doesn't indicate another health concern for him .But I'm also not sure if he really notices .Anyone any experience ?

Can be a bonus my DH is now 65 and produces far less ejaculate making me far more comfortable with him finishing in my mouth, far less for me to deal with .

Thanks .Maybe it's an age thing .

It’s a age thing, don’t worry about it

GeorgeOhWell · 26/04/2021 19:52

Definitely an age thing. As a man in his late 50s my "output" has decreased both in volume and "range".

maartjebaabes · 27/04/2021 11:02

I've experienced this at a younger age and the orgasm is much better TBH - ejaculation is the final curtain and by going dry (normally cos it's 3rd or 4th time in succession, but it has happened in Round 1) it only stops once it's gone through my body.

maartjebaabes · 27/04/2021 11:02

Sorry 'younger age' I mean 40s 50s

mumsnoangel · 27/04/2021 20:34

This is happening to my dh and I'm not even sure he's having a proper orgasm. He denies this and I know he's been stressed so don't want to make a big thing about it, but worry it could be a medical issue we need to worry about.

This happens to me, I'm 58.
Sometimes just a few drops but usually nothing at all.
The Orgasm feels just as good as ever.
Pretty sure it is due to the beta blockers I take (Bisoprolol).

peridito · 16/06/2021 17:39

Slightlydifferent can I ask if you're aware that there is no or very little ejaculate ? I mean I guess you know afterwards maybe ? But if your partner said nothing ,would you know ?

All depends, of course, where it happens. Can only really tell by looking, it feels the same.

peridito · 17/06/2021 08:11

thanks ,I just wondered .Good to know that the orgasm is still a feel good factor!

Men can get a retrograde ejaculation too. It's where the semen drops back into the bladder instead of being ejaculated in the usual way. Sometimes related to medication/age.
