Lack of sex driving me insane. Fwb?

Haven't had sex in over two years. Lockdown has not helped! Just turned 30 and am soooo bored of having zero sex life. How does one go about finding a fwb without putting my photo on the Internet? Post lockdown of course.

Have you tried Fabswingers?

I've found lovely FWBs on Fab Swingers. Beware it's a minefield on there!

I've just read this article. It seems to describe FB relationship. From my experience they are totally different from FWBs relationships. My last FWBs I saw for two and a half years. In that time I met her family on a number of occasions. She met my friends, work colleagues and my daughter.

Please don't confuse the two types of relationships.

FAB Swingers - although you have to wade through a LOT of dick pics!

Killing Kittens - great female led community. Typically professional intelligent people. I've made friends with some lovely women who've introduced me to their husbands! Feels much safer meeting a guy whose been recommended by another woman. Plus everyone is very open so you know where you stand... no men pretending to be single.

Finding Fabswingers good now after 4 months on it, though the first 6 weeks were crazy as i was fresh meat and all the desperados were keen to take advantage. Once I figured out the filters, my expectations and my boundaries its been great fun. Though I haven't anyone regular due to the on/off lockdowns I have at least managed to learn a lot and have fun. The verification system on fab is good. always check them, the more they have the more reliable they tend to be.

Do you have any single friends where you could alter the scope of the friendship for a while? I think you can do a lot worse than have sex with a good friend(s) and the trust is there from the start.

I'm sorry I don't agree with this. Please don't try to turn an old friend into a FWBs. That would be a disaster.

How is she not your girlfriend?

StarlightLady · 28/02/2021 11:39

@GentlemanJay - By all means disagree with me. But don’t say will be a disaster, even if you think it might be. I’ve had sex with friends and it certainly wasn’t a disaster.

GentlemanJay · 28/02/2021 12:06

If it works for you. From my experience FWB relationships, feelings sometimes rear their heads. That's when it becomes problematic.

noego · 28/02/2021 14:55

I've had sex with friends and friends of friends. Never been a problem! We're all adults and mature!!
