Dealing with leakage

Whenever a guy has come inside me without a condom, I've often experienced semen leaking out, usually not straightaway but sometimes the next day and felt quite self-conscious if I was with other people because I thought sometimes I could smell it. In my present relationship we would sometimes use a condom if we were making love in the morning or any time when I'd be going out straight after. But we hope to start TTC soon so I don't want to miss any chances that way. So do others of you have this happen and how do you deal with it?

Maybe use a panty liner the next day

Wee after sex, shower or wash around the vagina and wear a pantyliner the next day.

I find if doing in the morning and going to work it takes a few hours. It just is obvious around the vulva and I just pop to the loo and wipe. Prefer that to using a condom...I actually like knowing his semen is inside me!

@namechangednorth I get a glowing feeling from knowing that his semen is inside me as well - just don't like it too much when it comes out! But I suppose I'll just have to make the best of things with panty liners and wiping when TTC. And I suppose I'm being a bit paranoid thinking other people might be able to smell it - aren't I?

It's just a teaspoon full so a bit of a wipe after usually seems to do the trick

Unless it is a real quickie with little time to him cumming, then no way is it a teaspoon from my DH.....I would equate it to several tea spoons. I don't see that as unusual.

If it was a teaspoon then I wouldn't expect much need to worry about leakage lol

Same here - when he's done it in a condom, there's a lot more than just filling that little bubble at the end, and I can feel him 'pumping' a lot as well each time he cums in me. And definitely more than a teaspoonful comes out of me when it does. When we do start TCC, I just hope enough does stay in to do the job!

I wouldn't worry about being enough...there are millions. I did try and lay flat after we DTD when TTC but needn't have worried as conceived one month first time and two minutes the second.

My friend conceived from a pre work quickie with him lifting her skirt and was upright all along so the swimmers are good at defying gravity !,

@namechangednorth We like morning quickies so that's good news about your friend! Anyway, we're on condoms at the moment to let my body settle down after a few years on the Pill, and from what I'm seeing he's shooting plenty of the white stuff for when the time comes anyway! And if anyone has any condom recommendations while we're having to use them, please let me know.

OP, l think you are overthinking the leakage thing. All you need is a spare pair of knix in your handbag and change if it feels necessary.

As for condoms, l just throw whatever is on offer into the supermarket trolly. From a female point of view, I don’t notice a difference from one to the other inside. Of course, he might gain a preference.

As the time increases with you being off the pill you may notice an increase in libido with your body returning to nature.

Another vote for panty liner or even a wad of loo roll in your knickers/tights. There was a previous discussion on this and someone suggested a tampon - don't do that I think it can be unhealthy (TSS and all that).
As for a smell, you are overthinking it. Definitely no chance of anyone noticing in my experience and I have never noticed another woman smelling of sperm - plenty of other smells but not that. Good luck on your TTC project.

Thanks again for all your suggestions. @StarlightLady - I think we'll just experiment with different types of condoms and make an adventure of it! I bought a box of Durex Invisible yesterday and we tried one this morning. He was quite impressed with the 'nearly not there' feeling. @toetickle No, I didn't think a tampon would be a good idea. Feeling more relaxed about the leakage issue by now. Felling more broody by the day, so off we go with TTC soon I hope :-)

This is going to sound terrible but I insist he licks it out of me, especially if going somewhere straight afterwards.
