I didn’t know if this question should be on this thread or the pregnancy one so I’ve asked on here to be on the safe side.

Anal sex while pregnant(30weeks) is it safe?

OP posts:

I have just looked up 'pregnancy' in The Ultimate Guide To Anal Sex For Women by Tristan Taormino and the only thing she mentions is a cautionary note about hemorrhoids. Pregnancy can bring them on, and of course they would make anal sex a bit problematical (but by no means either impossible, or inadvisable), but if you haven't got piles then by all means go for it.

Best wishes for a lovely birth.

I had anal sex during my pregnancy and last one 1 week before labour - no issues

Festivalgirl83, apart from possibly making the OP feel bad about herself for posting about anal sex while pregnant, what purpose does your emoji contribution serve?

There can only be two decent reasons for reading posts on this forum subsection: either one wants to increase one's knowledge of sexuality, or one wants to assist others in doing the same thing. Therefore, if you find an aspect of someone else's sexuality a bit distasteful then simply walk on by. There is nothing to be gained by your saying that this particular practice is not for you.

It all boils down to the principle of 'if you can't say anything nice, then don't say anything at all'. I don't want to upset you, or indeed anyone else, but human sexuality comes in a glorious spectrum of flavours. It is just like ice cream and it is no surprise that one person dislikes a flavour that another absolutely loves. If all you want is vanilla for the rest of your life, then that is fine, but let others try anything the shop offers without making them feel awkward about their choices.
