Argh I’m so embarrassed!

So, I’m working from home, like many people, self employed though so not using anyone else’s time but my own. Kids are at school, I’ve had a really productive morning, and house is quiet so I decided to go upstairs and have some ‘me time’, curtains closed, music on, only for DH to nip home for something, which he never does, and catch me in the act! I’m so embarrassed. I mean he knows I do, I know he does, and we have a great sex life, so why I do feel like I’ve been caught I had an array of toys out on the bed as I wasn’t sure which one I fancied which made it worse. He thought it was hilarious and said he would have stayed to assist only he had his work mate in the car outside! Now i wonder if he thinks that’s what I do all day instead of actually working!

I’d brazen it out. Send him a lovely naughty message about continuing later tonight. Nothing to be ashamed off whatsoever. 😊

@HaggisBurger thank you for the reply. Although I know it’s nothing to be ashamed of, I can’t stop cringeing. Which is daft, we’ve been together forever and we both talk about this stuff and I wasn’t doing anything I wouldn’t do in front of him. I’ll send the message, although I don’t think he needs any encouragement, judging by the comments he was making on his way out of the door! I’m sure it will be something I’ll laugh at in a few weeks/ days? But I just feel really cringey right now

I bet you’ve made his afternoon at work far more enjoyable 😃 I would laugh it off and laugh with DH about it. You’ve got nothing to be embarrassed or ashamed of - we are alive in a pandemic after all, and you need to take your enjoyment wherever you can get it 😉

Wouldn't worry too much we all need " me time", sure just have a laugh about it. I'm sure he could hardly keep his mind on work today. Maybe set it up for him to pop back from work to help you out sometime. I bet he's raring to go tonight.

Thanks for the replies everyone! I feel much less embarrassed now. I think it must have been my catholic upbringing - haha. DH had a very enjoyable afternoon in work so he tells me, and he couldn’t wait to get home! Just packing the oldest off to bed
