My partner is a physically a lot bigger than previous partners I've had. He is taller but also has a larger belly (trying to be kind!). I feel very petit when with him.

We got physical for the first time last night and it just seemed we couldn't find the right position for both of us to properly enjoy.

Any suggestions on what positions might work for us? He's fab in every other way!

Bodies tend to “learn” each other. Were you physically ready for each other or had you rushed in with insufficient foreplay?

Doggy may be a good starting point.

If he gives you plenty of oral first, it will help. Also, next time, have some lube on standby.

I think you on top would be best as his stomach will be flatter.

I imagine him on top is the issue as his stomach gets in the way.

How about him kneeling up between your legs? Or like the other pp suggested you on top either facing him or reverse?

My partner and I are in the same situation. I would echo the comments about bodies learning about each other, but when we were first together we loved me sitting on a chair, leaning back slightly, with her straddling me, facing me, while seated in my lap. It enabled our heads to be at the same height, so plenty of kissing.

I did go on top but found the angles my legs needed to be to accomdate him wasn't sustainable and uncomfortable. Might just need to play about and see what works.

There was plenty of foreplay although I think we were both apprehensive - both of us are going into this after a dry spell.

My dh is big.. Sometimes his belly gets in the way... I delicately tell him he is squashing my tea!!
No harm done.
He doesn't take offence.
