Bleeding after sex

I haven't had Sex for about 8 years or so. I met with an old friend a couple of days ago and we had sex . I was in a lot of pain afterwards and bleeding . It also felt painful when having a wee later on. The pain has stopped now and bleeding stopped but it now seems to have triggered the beginning of a period like bleeding . I’m not due on for about a week

I get this issue and it’s a combination of complex hyperplasia and an ectopic cervix for me. If it continues to be a problem get it checked out as it can be a symptom of lots of things.

Recently started happening to me. Saw a doctor who referred to gynaecologist who said I have cervix ectropion (I think) which he described as skin that's delicate and exposed in the cervix (when previously hasn't been but could be because of age or Having children) and it's being touched when having sex thus the bleeding. Kind of like your gums bleeding when using a toothbrush.

Hi OP - it's definitely worth seeing the GP to get the bleeding checked out. It often is something simple like @Thisismyusernamefornow mentioned and it could be from the lack of activity in that area for a while 😉 but always best to check.
