Had to give up, it was the least sexy thing to put on and then it just felt like a carrier bag was inside me

OP, l think most of us who have tried them, gave up with them long ago. Absolutely no advantage in my book. In addition they are bulkier and more expensive.

Take the inner ring out and chuck it in the bin. Then try them again.

They also work that way as 'baggy condoms', to the point that they used to be sold under a different name as just that.

One advantage is that one can wear one prior to going for an evening if one is perhaps considering having sex. Having male condoms with you does not guarantee that a partner will wear one.

@xpc316e - That raises other issues. I always carry (male) condoms in my handbag.

If you are with an irresponsible git of a male partner, insertion is possible outside of the (female) condom, no matter when you start to wear it.
