Does anyone else find sex just plain boring even if you are able to orgasm?
I'm just so bored with it. I've been single since divorce and have a couple of blokes wanting to go out with me but the thought of having to resume kind of sex life really puts me off.
I find sex boring and quite frankly orgasm boring, I'd get more joy out of a piece of cake or gardening.
Could be my age I suppose, I'm the wrong side of 60 and in the morning I just want to leap out of bed and sieze the day, go for a long walk, do the gardening, do one of my many hobbies.
I don't want to waste the whole morning sweating around in bed and trying to get rid of the inevirable semen everywhere.
Does anyone else my age feel like this or is it just me?

I'm nowhere near 60 but my mum seemed to have a pretty good sex life from what I gathered without all the gory details. Got a older friend who was widowed but again seems to enjoy that side of it.

I don't intend to ask for all the details though but OP it sounds like you are happy single so he not stay single?

Yes I probably will. I'm not sure I want to have sex again.

I am 63 and sex is very important to me. I would never class it as boring, but you do and if that is your experience I would not challenge it in any way. If your life is full and enjoyable without sex, then that is OK.

Some people just aren't that bothered sex and it doesn't fulfil a physical or emotional need

I have a friend who ive known for 30 years. She has been single for most of that time. She is not at all bothered by sex even though she can orgasm via piv in 3 or 4 minutes and isnt fussed by foreplay.

She has a companion to do things with who is also not interested in sex.
Maybe that is worth exploring
