Copper coil

Hi wondering if anyone can help me, I gave birth to my second child 4 and a half months ago now. I decided I wanted to have a break and relax my body so I decided to go on to the copper coil.

I've been on the copper coil for near 2/3 months now.

I've had sex a few times unprotected but I've not missed a period since being on it. But I was due on about 2 days ago now. I have had 'period like cramps' , bloating, and I have had a lot of creamy thick discharge and sometimes has pink/ spotting.??? These past 2 weeks on and off now I have also felt nauseous (but not all the time) I have also been suffering with (thrush) (sorry if it's too much detail, but I need advise/help)

anyone got any ideas what this could be??? Or anyone else experienced anything like this?

When you say you’ve had unprotected sex do you mean before you’ve had the coil put in or after ?

Did you have a coil check done a few weeks after the coil was put in ?

In my experience, although following 22 months of breastfeeding, my period taking at least 20 months to return, having had the copper coil fitted at 4 months post partum, 3 years later my cycles are still very irregular.
Perhaps the hormone one would regulate your cycle or even stop your period? Or give it more time and see it things settle down. Stress, diet, loads of things will continue to interfere with regularity.
