Yoni massage?

Hi all. I have a pretty uninteresting sex life (married, 3'kids, no time, tired, body confidence issues, all the usual). I've been reading the sex board the last couple of days and am enjoying seeing the fun and different things people get up to and I'm looking for a way for my husband and I to progress to new heights. I've come across yoni massage. I've see some yoni massage/tantric practitioners either one at a time or for couples. Has anyone tried this? I can't decide if I think it sounds a wonderful, learning and indulgent experience or a bit seedy, so wondered if anyone had any thoughts. To go to an expert or read up and practice at home?

Depends if you[re after the porn version or the true meditative version

"Brian to the sex topic board, Brian to sex topic board please."

I suppose it depends if you are each happy for someone else to play with your and dp’s bits.

And I suspect most practitioners you find on google are just sex workers who give you a massage 1st.

Maybe practice on each other. !

Justaordinarybloke · 20/01/2020 19:08

Google it, there is plenty of advice and DIY guides, it would be more fun & personal if you tried to do it to eachother rather than pay someone. There are experts in this but I would never consider it. Yoni is more all over massage (tits especially) and more or less teasing the vagina lips for long period before entering with fingers. If you don't mind porn then go on youjizz and search yoni massage, 1 or 2 helpful videos on there

thenextthing · 20/01/2020 21:55

Thank you. I was thinking less porn and more erotic. I hate the idea of using a sex worker - the bits I saw online didn't seem sex workerery, more therapisty. I think a bit more online research, maybe a book or so and some experimentation at home is the ticket Wink

I watched a programme about this and it was definitely seedy. Basically a man with one eyebrow rubs your fanny whilst giving a running commentary and then tries to kiss you afterwards.

All I'm saying is research carefully, because that horror show made Brian in Hull sound appealing.

LexMitior · 20/01/2020 23:48

Well, what sort of chap gives a such a thing? One that can’t believe his luck.

Keep it for experimentation at home.

In true Tantra it is about being in a meditative state that allows one to be totally inhibited from the mind and body memories which allows total release through the chakras. Thus achieving full body orgasms as well as cervical, vaginal, g spot and clitoral orgasms.
For example did you know that the throat chakra is directly connected to the root chakra? (yoni)
That a woman if she has anything on her mind )like the kids lunch) tomorrow will never achieve this because she is not in the right state, this is why the meditation is important because until the mind is empty of everyday thoughts it will interrupt the experience.
So I would suggest more research into the REAL tantra experience and not what the west has hijacked for porn or portrayed tantra to be. Because FYI it is bullshit.

thenextthing · 21/01/2020 10:20

In all honesty noego, it was that which was appealing to me (not thinking about the kids lunch). I'm exhausted by the mundane and the noise in my head. I'd love to empty it just for a rest and if I could get my rocks off at the same time all the better!! I'm unlikely to have the full tantra experience with my husband, as delicious as it sounds. I think I'll buy a book and research it, then probably end up reading Mumsnet and having a drunken and predictable quicky on a Saturday night if we both stay awake. It's certainly something to aim for though

The tantric experience can be experienced solo ifyswim :)

This can be done through tantric shower meditations amongst other things and can lead to a real good solo experience as well as a couple experience.

It is recognised that peoples minds are always busy and to separate from the mind to enjoy the experience is where the meditation comes in to the practice. But it is also recognised that the body carries memory as well and that this can inhibit total release.

It is important to make sure that time is given over to tantra because it is a subtle erotic experience and therefore not to be rushed.

And as with all things, practice makes perfect :)

Justaordinarybloke · 21/01/2020 16:04

Just look for yoni guides and practice it at home, whether you get it right or wrong won't really make any difference as you will have enjoyed receiving it from your partner and he would have enjoyed running his hands all over your naked body, remember to use a good oil , coconut oil is supposed to be good.

There are techniques within Tantra OP that can give you a quick fix if your partner knows what they are doing. For example OM.

@IamDisappeared I snorted with laughter at that!!

Fightingmycorner2019 · 24/01/2020 14:48

Google orgasmic meditation and persuade your husband to do that Wink

WyeWoman · 24/01/2020 19:38

@IamDisappeared

Only opened this thread to see if someone mentioned Brian!!

OP-I think there's a place in Hull.

In all seriousness OP, even if it's dressed up in new age garble then it's still seedy and grim. And how would you even be sure it's not some weirdo anyway, is there a British Council of Yoni Masseurs they register with? Unlikely.

Alonelonelyloner · 25/01/2020 08:05

Following with intense interest. Apparently the EU are going to pass regulation which means women have a legal right to whole body orgasms.

I'm off to meditate...

SuperMeerkat · 13/02/2020 18:59

I was beaten to the Brian jokes. I’m going off to sulk...

Opentooffers · 13/02/2020 23:35

How about a bath together, candles and soft music - wash each other down 😉
