squirting question

So it's not so much about the squirting I'm fine with that, I'm just wondering how others deal with the mess after?

I currently have a completly waterproof mattress protector and have to wash that and my bed sheet everytime as there is like a pool of water.

I've tried googling solutions and some people said they use incontenance pads - how sexy - anyway so far that's the easiest solution as I don't want to jump out of bed to change the sheets every time.

What is the squirting? Is it urine or does it come out of your Vagina? Sorry to ask but I've never squirted and no one seems to know where the liquid actually comes from. Not that this helps your predicament. Sorry x

It always makes me laugh when I hear the term squirting. I am just waiting to see a film or drama, where there is a romance, and sexual scenes, and one of the people says, do you like squirting,or do you squirt a lot, ha ha.

StarlightLady · 08/01/2020 07:32

OP, a bath towel on the bed should be more than adequate.

@cosmicbabe - it is not urine and it comes out of the vulva. Neither does it mean the male myth of significantly heightened sexual pleasure.

labazsisgoingmad · 08/01/2020 09:05

one bath towel not enough i use two or three but often miss the towel i agree pads are not exactly sexy bit old folks home it is a problem

StegosaurusRex · 08/01/2020 18:30

It actually often is pee, just 'watered down' and it does come from the urethra

Well a towel or two helps with what goes down. Not found any way of protecting us from what sprays upwards, in his eye, in my hair, up the wall. Maybe an umbrella?

EmmaC78 · 09/01/2020 23:47

I thought it was urine mostly as well.

Apart from putting towels down i am not sure there is much else you can do.

frostedviolets · 10/01/2020 20:21

I too suspect it is actually urine.

SospanFrangipan · 11/01/2020 00:20

Either a folded towel or a puppy training pad 🙈 I keep them in my bedside table so they're close to hand!

Flobbertybillop · 11/01/2020 21:51

It’s not pee.
I did it for the first time yesterday, and I had just completely emptied my bladder. It doesn’t smell or look like urine.

StegosaurusRex · 11/01/2020 22:23

It really is

StegosaurusRex · 11/01/2020 22:23

There's been actual scientific studies done

I'm so sorry to be grim and disgusting but if you are adequately hydrated your pee shouldn't smell much, if at all and should be pretty much colourless.

I imagine that during sex it would be mixed with...secretions..so might appear to have a different texture and an empty bladder makes no difference.

So sorry again for upcoming revoltingness, my last bout of Noro virus I had a completely empty bladder, and I was barely drinking because I couldn't keep it down, that didn't stop me involuntarily and spectacularly pissing myself in unbelievably huge amounts every.single.time. I vomited.

If you've ever had norovirus you'll know that means an awful lot of upchucking.

I didn't know my body could even hold that amount of wee.
It was absolutely awful.

I'm sorry but we're just getting old 🤷‍♀️

EmmaC78 · 12/01/2020 09:31

It is pee. You just have to Google and there is a lot of reliable info on studies that have been done that show it comes from the bladder.

There are some that disagree....

I get bored with this argument is it pee, its not pee blah blah blah.

Who gives a fuck. If you know how to map your G spot correctly you'd squirt too. So crack on ladies and don't worry about the mess.

Opentooffers · 13/01/2020 23:32

Defo not per, odourless, with a slippery texture and comes from the Skein gland so not from bladder

Opentooffers · 13/01/2020 23:32

'not piss'

sleepraptor · 16/01/2020 13:29

My opinion is that it's not pee but it's liquid that would otherwise go to the bladder. So if you have squirted then you would have less urine afterwards but it's the water part that's gone rather than the urea part.

Easilyflattered · 16/01/2020 19:26

Erm, what percentage of women do we think are squirters then?

SeaMills · 16/01/2020 19:42

I started doing it occasionally after getting together with my now DH. And by doing it I releasing a small quantity of slippery odourless liquid when I climax, not the full on porn film fire hose. That definitely is pee.

I need to be really aroused though. I have been taking Wellbutrin as an anti-depressant for the last months and have noticed that it now happens much more frequently than before.

SeaMills · 16/01/2020 19:42

*last few months

SeaMills · 16/01/2020 19:45

FFS! ...by doing it I mean releasing...

notturningintopowerranger · 20/01/2020 09:47

I have done it on and off for years. It doesn’t smell at all, even first thing in the morning, and I use a totally different set of muscles to release it. I don’t think it’s urine, but there is clearly a connection.

I like sleeping in a wet patch, as I’m into sex being wet, slippery and a bit mucky, but I wonder if you could get two layers, waterproof sheet, sheet, then again so you can whip top layer off? I also have sex on top of the bed so it goes on a very thick throw which I can wash.

ShiveringCoyote · 21/01/2020 19:30

I squirt from my vagina. Pretty sure theres no pee there.
