What could be causing this discomfort?

I've had issues for a few years now after sex. I always go to the loo immediately after but can only pass a small amount of water. I'll then go back to bed and 5 minutes later I need to get up again but then can only pass a small amount. This can go on for an hour. I thought it was chronic cystitis and have followed all the usual advice to prevent that, but the fact that it comes on immediately after sex makes me wonder if it is something else. We use condoms so I've wondered if that's causing irritation (GP won't allow the pill for various reasons). I recently got told I have some large ovarian cysts on an ultrasound and am waiting for my gynaecologist appointment to find out more. Could it be that there's a cyst pushing on my bladder? I also get quite swollen down there afterwards as well - like there's a lot of blood flow. I also have low libido so have wondered about a hormone issue. I've not had DCs yet. Does anyone else experience this?

You are bound to have low libido if sex is uncomfortable. It’s like walking less if it’s painful to walk.

This is really one for the medics, mot for laypeople on MN. I hope you get it sorted.
