Tearing after sex

Hi this is slightly embarrassing but if you cant write it on a sex board then where can you! Does anyone else experience tearing and redness/soreness at the bottom of thier vagina/vulva at the entrance. I think the correct term for that part is called the fourchette? Lubrication is not a problem almost the opposite Blush but sex can be quite rough. It gets red there and seems to tear a bit most times. It does heal up in a few days and doesnt cause too much discomfort but just wondering if anyone has it or has any advice? Many thanks!

Hello I would get a swab done as this can be related to herpes. Someone I know thought she was tearing after sex - however it was heroes. It's really common.
You need to be seen and checked either way - as tearing so frequently is not normal.

Thanks I've had swabs done and all come back as normal. The only thing I have been getting is thrush quite a bit so could be related to that!

Thrush can cause small splits in the skin round the vagina (like little paper cuts) - could it be that?

Yes I do get thrush quite a bit but this is always just in one place in the same area just at the bottom of the entrance. It's probably a mix between bouts of thrush and the roughness then!

@Msgiggles30 that was me. About 9 years ago we had sex that was a little rough and I wasn't very ready. I tore and for years after it would tear again after (most) sex. It's better these days since I came off the pill. I even evaded up seeing a dermatologist and gyne there but they were reluctant to cut and restitch as I have a short perineum apparently. It most became scar tissue on the end that was very fragile.
