Feels like it's hitting something?!

Wise people of mumsnet please help me! I had my son 15 months ago and ever since then, I can t have sex in certain positions as part way through it feels like my partner is hitting something?! We're fine for a few minutes but then it's like a sharp pain from inside my belly, he said he can feel something aswell? I had a c section and thought things would have cleared up by now, has anyone else had this happen? Is it fixable?

Sounds suspiciously like how my wife described her prolapse, though undoubtedly you'll get a more reliable opinion from a woman. Either way, get to the GP, pain is the body's way of telling you something isn't right.

Its probably your cervix but take it as a warning sign. In some positions I was getting pain, and my smear showed up with HPV and pre cancerous cells. I had a cone biopsy and all is ok now and when I have sex that pain and hitting something feeling isn't there as much anymore but certain times of the month when the cervix is lower I can still feel it a bit.

Not trying to scare you but go see your GP.

Could be the neck of your womb, I don't know if this changes after childbirth.

I had this and turned out I had a harmless ovarian cyst he was hitting. Hurt like hell though.
