Omg I'm being ridiculous!! Me and DP haven't had sex in ~4 weeks (its and ongoing argument, a whole other story). Have talked myself in to DTD all day, and I can feel myself chickening out like I did last night... I have some body issues (which I know logically are in my head but 🤷🏻‍♀️), girls/boys HELP!!

We've been together 7years and things have tapered off since I went to Aus for 12 months (on and off, came home etc) I really want to get the spark back and most days like today I talk myself in to it and then chicken out when it comes to it! What is wrong with me!!!

I’ve had this with body issues putting me off sex as well. But in my experience the more sex I have the more I want so just stop chickening out and go for it!

Totally as pp. the more you do it the more you want it. It's basically a horse you need to get back onto (unless you truly don't want to). Buy some lingerie or clothes that make you feel good and take it from there. Your body issues will not disappear by themselves . It's important that you fight them.

Speaking as a recovering anorexic, now at 45 I look back at when I was younger and wish I could tell myself then how lovely I was and sexy and to not put off til tomorrow what I could shag today.

If you don't feel the urge to DTD, then don't do...but look at why you don't want to and perhaps look to split from him. And leave him free to form a meaningful relationship elsewhere
